FREITASMAR Group
Freitasmar Group was born in the first half of 1994, with the establishment of Freitasmar - Produtos Alimentares, S.A, which started by commercializing raw materials for the canned fish industry for a short period of time. However, it dedicates now to the production of gourmet products, most of them sold to the international market. In 2013 was inaugurated a new factory, located in the Port of Olhão (Algarve).

Cofisa

Cofisa – Conservas de Peixe da Figueira, SA, was acquired by the Freitasmar Group in 2004. It is a canning industry, producing a great variety of canned fish, mainly tuna, sardines, mackerel, small sardines, squid, octopus and cockles. Its mission is to satisfy its customers’ needs through the development of its products, asserting itself as a reference company in both the Portuguese and international markets. Currently, Cofisa exports its products to several countries, including Spain, France, Italy, Poland, Netherlands, Puerto Rico, Cyprus, Germany, Macau, Israel, Belgium, Australia, Libya, Algeria and Canada.
